We have a blended family with three of us working together in the business.

We (Anne-Lise and Matthew) are retired lawyers. We love cats. We are kept busy with 8 adult children and 5 grandchildren. We like to travel around the UK and Europe in our Mazda Bongo campervan. The cats come as well. They love the van. They like to go for walks. We take a buggy so they can have a rest and watch the world go by. We love visiting Historic Houses where the cats can walk through the flowers in the gardens.

Michael is Matthew’s son. In 2024, Michael was made redundant from his administrative role at a local solicitors’ firm. Despite applying for a wide range of positions, he found it difficult to secure new employment. We decided to establish Fantastic Cats UK to create a positive opportunity for Michael while building something we genuinely care about.

We are flexible about our roles in the business but Matthew and Anne-Lise focus on admin while Michael takes the orders and dispatches the wheels.
